Dancing Under the Stars, our annual fundraiser, was held on Friday, April 11 at the Vinton War Memorial.
Pathfinders
Construction of the Presbyterian Community Center's newest program, Pathfinders, began in the summer of 2006 with the help of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. This wonderful group spent hours gutting the old video store on the 13th Street side of the PCC building and donated plumbing fixtures, ceiling tile and paint for the project. Construction of the project took place in late spring 2007 thanks to a Project Development Grant from the Junior League of Roanoke Valley. The grand opening held on September 6, 2007 marked not only the Pathfinders' debut, but a substantial increase in mental health treatment available for children in southeast Roanoke.
Tutors
Tutors volunteer one day each week during the school year to provide one on one homework assistance to a child enrolled in Pathways for Youth.
Volunteers
Our volunteers are people living their faith by providing vital assistance to the mission of the Presbyterian Community Center.
