Foundation for Roanoke Valley Grants for PCC Emergency Services:
The Presbyterian Community Center is the recipient of two grants totaling $15,000 from the Foundation for Roanoke Valley. An $11,000 grant from the Mary Louise Home fund will be used to assist elderly low-income clients with emergency financial needs. A $4,000 grant from the Thomas P. and Lewise S. Parsley Fund will provide prescription medication assistance for low-income elderly clients. The PCC is most grateful to the Foundation for Roanoke Valley, the Mary Louise Home Fund and the Parsley Fund for this wonderful support for our seniors who make up approximately 26% of all Emergency Services clients.
New Directors Join Board:
The Presbyterian Community Center welcomes Beth Crittenden, Kandy Elliott and Chuck Lockard to the board of directors.
