Emergency Services
Emergency Services helps individuals and families in need by providing financial assistance for utilities, rent, mortgage, prescriptions, heating oil, and other life necessities.
A food pantry, provides no-cost groceries to prevent hunger among families facing difficult times.
Hours of Operation:

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 9 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Southeast Roanoke, Northeast Roanoke, and Eastern Roanoke County & Vinton.

If you need help with utility or rent assistance, we’re here to support you. To start the process, please fill out our online application form. This will help us gather the information we need to assist you as quickly as possible.
As PCC prepares for our upcoming relocation, we are temporarily not accepting online applications until further notice.

Please Note: PCC does not provide assistance with deposits, first month's rent, or hotel/motel stays.

Please be advised that financial assistance is currently unavailable.

Effective October 1, 2023, clients seeking PCC donated food will be required to provide a copy of their lease. Unsheltered/Homeless individuals are excluded from this policy.
