Emergency Services
Emergency Services helps individuals and families in need by providing financial assistance for utilities, rent, mortgage, prescriptions, heating oil, and other life necessities.
A food pantry, provides no-cost groceries to prevent hunger among families facing difficult times.
Hours of Operation:

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 9 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Service Area:

Southeast Roanoke, Northeast Roanoke, and Eastern Roanoke County & Vinton.

If you need help with utility or rent assistance, we’re here to support you. To start the process, please fill out our online application form. This will help us gather the information we need to assist you as quickly as possible.
Please Note:

There will be no applications the week of November 24th, due to the holiday. Applications will resume December 1st.

ALL applications must be submitted online ONLY.

A maximum of 10 applications will be approved during the initial week

Any additional applications will be considered the following week if funding remains available.

Effective October 1, 2023, clients seeking PCC donated food will be required to provide a copy of their lease. Unsheltered/Homeless individuals are excluded from this policy.
